I am a 5th (and final!) year Ph.D. student in Mathematics at UR and currently a T.A. for MTH 162, Calculus II. I teach recitations on Wednesdays from 12:00 to 12:50 in Hylan 101, from 5:15 to 6:05 and again from 6:15 to 7:05 in Hylan 201; if you are one of my students and cannot attend your usual recitation time please feel free to come to another one of my recitations the same week, so you can take that week's quiz.
My research is in computational stable homotopy theory, specifically, applications of algebraic number theory to the computation of the E_2-term of the Adams-Novikov spectral sequence, and related questions about group actions on Lubin-Tate spaces and spectra. You can read more in my Research Statement. You can also take a look at my Curriculum Vitae and Teaching Statement.
